Tips for Players

Warm Up & Stretch Before Games Practice


Make sure you warm up!

  • Stretching before practice and games can release muscle tension and help           prevent sports-related injuries.
     

  • Before games or training jog then stretch all major muscle groups, holding for 20 to 30 seconds.
     

  • Remember to Hydrate


Make sure you stay well-hydrated

  • bring a water bottle to training and matches

  • Dink plenty of water before, during and after play. 

  • Drink fluids 30 minutes before activity begins and every 15-20 minutes during activity.


Drink when you have a breaks throughout practice and games 

OUR PITCHES
Matches are played throughout the year at Peace Memorial ground and also at Chantry Bridge fields.
Peace Memorial Playing Field, offers excellent pitches and good training space. On match days you can pop into the Club house for teas, coffees and cake.
TRAINING
Starting April 9 2019 we train at our home pitch at Peace Memorial. In winter (from October) we move to Colyton Grammar Astro turf pitch, Whitwell Lane, Colyford, Colyton, Devon EX24 6HN.
